Good news? its a replaceable piece. Bad news? its for sure not the only rusty piece. Man, thats WAY worse than Utah.

And.... we're gonna fix it! YAY! Only needs that, a CV boot, and an axle seal. Otherwise good to go for our used lot.

Yeah the rear quarters are just starting to bubble, and.... well the rest of the underside isn't so bad, actually.

Yeah, that's why I won't buy cars from where they salt roads. We have bad enough rust as it is around here.

That must have been their solution to the 'too durable' problem of early models..
Can't I go into the dealer and order 'super duty rustproofing' for about $2k more, both coatings and alternative composite and treated materials all throughout the undercarriage, not that spray-proofing stuff they use for upselling.
